This is a song called 'Havana Affair' by the punk rock band Ramones. Like most punk rock songs, it was originally composed at a very fast pace and if I may say, without much melody. John Frusciante liked the Ramones a lot and as a habit used to slow down their songs (and other punk rock songs) and sing them with more melody. The result of one such interpretation is the Chili's version of Havana Affair which is what I tried to cover here. I did not realize the magnitude of disconnect between how decent I thought my vocals were and how bad I found that they actually are! Bummer!
